Full-service delivery of MSF360 is available to regulatory colleges, health authorities and other institutions that would like to offer our program to the health professionals they work with or support.

This multi-source feedback program is a valuable and meaningful professional development opportunity, to help health professionals improve their performance and provide high-quality care to the public.

Multi-source feedback made easy

MSF360 involves a self-assessment and collecting feedback from colleagues and patients, providing participants with a 360° perspective of their practice. Follow-up coaching or facilitation is recommended to ensure participants receive maximum value from their MSF360 results.

What to expect:

MSF360 is available to individual healthcare professionals for their own professional development, and to providers selected to participate by their regulator or other health care institution.

Delivery of MSF360 varies slightly depending on how you enter the program. Follow the instructions below to complete your MSF360 program.

You will identify the participants within your organization who are to complete an MSF360 and provide us with their contact information.
We will contact participants to explain how they were chosen to participate in MSF360, go through the process and provide details on how to access their secure, online MSF360 account.
From their account, participants will complete a self-assessment, select colleagues to provide feedback and coordinate making surveys available to patients.
Once colleagues and patients have completed and returned their surveys, MSF360 will produce a report for the participant, capturing all the feedback provided.
We recommend participants review their MSF360 report with a coach or facilitator, who can help objectively interpret the data and identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of an action plan.

Assessing critical CanMEDS roles

MSF360 is anchored in the CanMEDS framework, evaluating three specific roles:

Communicator

The ability to form relationships with patients and their families, based on trust and mutual understanding. This facilitates the gathering and sharing of information essential for providing effective health care.

Collaborator

The ability to build relationships based on trust, respect and shared decision-making, working effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Professional

The commitment to health and well-being through ethical practice, cultural safety, high personal standards of behaviour, accountability, physician-led regulation and maintenance of personal health.

These roles can be difficult to evaluate but are critical to the delivery of safe care. Performance in these areas is best assessed by those who observe, interact and work directly with MSF360 participants.
